  1. What is a "Listing"?
    A "Listing" is information about your business. Listings include your business name, location, what you do, your location, a description of your services, the who's, what's, when's, and where's about your business, and much more. Listings can also include photos that you upload. Listings are tailor made by you, not us.

  2. How many listings can I bid on?
    Literally hundreds! Advertisers can bid on any amount of listings, as long as they are relevant to the content on their businesses. To generate the greatest amount of leads, we encourage you to bid on as many listings as possible, so that you increase the chances of your listing being seen by potential customers. Remember for pennies a day per listing, FindAnOutfitter.com can produce customers that will pay for your advertising costs many times over, and increase your profits.

  3. How do I determine which position I should bid for?
    Many things affect click-through rate, including well-written titles and descriptions, and the relevancy of your listing to the user's search. But one of the most important factors is your listing's position in the search results. We've found that the higher your listing's position in the search results, the more clicks you're likely to receive, and thus more leads. In fact, research shows that listings in the top three positions get double the number of clicks than the other positions do combined!

  4. When will my listings go online?
    Listings go online instantaneously after you create them. You create your listings by using your Account Management Tool.

  5. How much should I deposit?
    One of the greatest benefits of FindAnOutfitter.com is that you determine how much you wish to pay for targeted leads to your business. Opening an account is FREE. To have your listings shown at FindAnOutfitter.com you need to deposit a minimum of $10.00, which is applied directly to your account's balance. If you are bidding in popular categories, you may want to make a larger deposit so that you don't exhaust your funds as quickly. All transactions at FindAnOutfitter.com are secured by a secure socket layer (SSL). We offer Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards as forms of payment. The initial $10.00 deposit is non-refundable, however any unused amount over $20.00 which you deposit into your account is fully refundable, should you decide to cancel your account.

  6. Will I get some kind of traffic report?
    FindAnOutfitter.com advertisers receive access to the Admin Web-Control Panel, our account management tool for FindAnOutfitter.com advertisers. Our Account Management Tool gives you the ability to view your account balance, add money to your account and change your bids 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You also can use the Account Management Tool to add, modify and delete your listings, view your reports to see your click and impression activity, change your password and modify your account information. It's a great tool that makes managing your account online very easy.

  7. Can I specify a rank for my search listings and have it there forever?
    No. FindAnOutfitter.com search results, by their very nature, are dynamic. Just like what you did when you first listed your business on FindAnOutfitter.com, other advertisers will sign up with various bid amounts, which may change the rank of other advertisers on the page.

    We don't allow someone to lock into any specific position for any of their listings because it goes against FindAnOutfitter.com's free and open marketplace. It's important to us that any client of any size has the ability to be in any of the positions they desire for their listings. As soon as we made that exclusive arrangement for one of our clients, we would have to do it for everyone in order to be fair.

  8. Will I be notified when I lose my rank?
    Yes. We do have an automatic notification system. You can access this feature in the Account Management Tool.

  9. What do you do in case of a tie bid?
    When two or more advertisers bid in the same placement categories at the same price, FindAnOutfitter.com will give the first advertiser who bid on that category and price the higher position in the listings. For example, if there are 3 advertisers who bid 25 cents on a position, they will be listed in order of "seniority" at the 25 cent price. This feature adds even more value to being the first to bid on categories that currently have no bid, and to be the top bidder.
